Ahyani Radhiani Fitri, Ami Widyastuti

Abstract

Data were analyzed by categorizing the answers to the subject based on thematic similarities, then we conducted a cross tabulation which was based on the frequency response in the group category. The study found that there are four categories of characteristics for amanah mothers and fathers which are: (1) the role, (2) the character, (3) integrity, and (4) benevolence. The role is the ability of the parents to fulfill the mandate while the character is a collection of traits that leads to the behavior of the mandate of the elderly. The integrity is the compatibility and consistency between the commitment and behavior of parents in children. Finally, benevolence is a form of attention and affection of parents felt by children.
